VERSE ONE
        Cadd9
You got someone here who wants to make it alright,
Cadd9 G D** Cadd9
Someone that loves you more than life right here.

You got willin' arms that will hold you tight

And will lead you all through the night right here.

CHORUS ONE
D C
I know your heart can get all tangled up inside,
D Am7
Don't you keep it to yourself.
          G D** C

Bring it on home to me.

Cadd9 G D** Cadd9
But you know I'm goin' to do all that I can right here.
Cadd9
I'm goin' to lie with you 'till you fall asleep,
Cadd9
When the mornin' comes I'm still goin' to be right

G D** Cadd9
here, yes I am.

CHORUS TWO

Sounds really good. Thanks. There are a few places where you have the chord change later than what it sounds like, but everyone should be able to listen to the song and here where the changes are at. Oh, and thanks for doing the intro on the other page. It sounds great too.

Thanks. I hope everyone remembers this is the tab for the Studio 330 Version only. You can watch many of the chord changes as they happen on the video from CMT's 330 Sessions archives. This particular purely acoustic performance is also accessible at LBT's link from the "Browse Artists" pull-down tab of the CMT.com website homepage.
I have tried to base most of the tab on what Wayne Kirkpatrick is playing on his incredible-sounding (and most assuredly outrageously expensive) Olson guitar. Taylor (Jimi Westbrook) or McPherson (Phillip Sweet) guitars aren't exactly affordable for most of us, but an Olson is something special. Unfortunately, Olsons can cost as much as a new car.Yikes! But I digress. Since this is the song from The Road to Here that is the subject of their new mainstream CMT video, I would anticipate there will be more attention directed at this tab. In response to keldog28's comments concerning chord placement, I have gone back and edited both the intro and chord tab. However,if you want to more precisely match the recording from the new CD and video, there may need to be some minor modifications from this acoustic Studio 330 session. When listening to the new video, I didn't feel there were enough differences from the 330 version to warrant a separate tab. BTW, brookroad and I have tabbed or collaborated on the other songs from the CD. Be sure to check them out. LBT is a lot more than just Boondocks, although it never hurts to have at least one song on the CD that appeals to the hoi polloi. LOL. Can you say ka-ching ?$$!!

You're right about them being more than "boondocks" The harmonies are outstanding on the 330 "bones" and that Olson is a dream machine... heard James Taylor's in concert...they just sound awsome. Great Tab... love this song.
