Kenny Chesneey
Be as you are (acoustic version)-corrected

Intro: Pick E

Capo 4th fret

Verse 1:
            D
Man I could use a Pina Colada
  D
A little bit-a sun on my skin
  G
I had this belief, never gonna look back
                     D
Once my feet hit the sand
     A D
I've had it up to here with this rat race
A
Need a smile on my face

Chorus:
        D
I wanna go where I can lighten up the load
Bm
Drive a little while on the wrong side of the road
         G D
Get this layin low off to a flyin start
D
Play my guitar in the Caribbean sun
Bm
Hang with the locals at The Quiet Mon
          G A
Where you be a tourist, a beach bum or a star,
          G
Be as you are

Verse 2:
Gettin' stuck sure would be easy
In this palm tree paradise
Ambition fades with every wave
For the finer things in life
Maybe I'll just hang around here
Go home later next year

Chorus:
        D
I wanna go where I can lighten up the load
Bm
Drive a little while on the wrong side of the road
         G D
Get this layin low off to a flyin start
D
Play my guitar in the Caribbean sun
Bm
Hang with the locals at The Quiet Mon
          G A
Where you be a tourist, a beach bum or a star,
          G
Be as you are

 Chorus:
        D
I wanna go where I can lighten up the load
Bm
Drive a little while on the wrong side of the road
         G D
Get this layin low off to a flyin start
D
Play my guitar in the Caribbean sun
Bm
Hang with the locals at The Quiet Mon
          G A
Where you be a tourist, a beach bum or a star,
          G
Be as you are
          G
Be as you are

La la la la la al la la la

I think this is about right , but I'm not sure about what he plays between the last
two times he plays the chorus. And I also don't know the chords he plays when he
sings la la..

just letting you know....
in the first verse of the song where you wrote. "I had this belief..." what Kenny says here is "a hammock, a book, never gonna look back...."

Your chorded version sounds OK, but you need to correct the lyrics. Some folks may not trust your application of music if you don't know the words.

in the line "i've had it up to here with this rat race" try a G instead of D but everything else sounds good

Hey, do you think that you could figure out how the very last part is played. I have tried to find the tabs or chords on other websites but I have had no luck so far. Great Job on this solo
